Leather Care
A leather jacket improves with age when cleaned, conditioned, and stored with care.
After wear, hang the jacket on a wide shoulder hanger and let it breathe before storing. Wipe dust with a dry, soft cloth and avoid plastic garment bags.
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. Never scrub aggressively. For dirt, use a barely damp cloth and allow the leather to air dry naturally away from heat.
Condition leather every few months using a neutral leather conditioner. Test on an inside area first, apply lightly, and buff away excess product.
Store in a cool, dry place on a broad hanger. Keep away from direct sunlight, damp wardrobes, and folded storage that can create permanent creases.
If caught in rain, pat dry and let the jacket dry naturally. Minor surface scratches can often be softened by gently rubbing with clean fingers and a small amount of conditioner.
